What's at Mallacoota?

The question we pondered as we considered having our holiday there. We turn off the highway to take the 23km driveway into Mallacoota, overwhelmed by the lush forest surrounding us, we endeavour to reach our destination.

Mallacoota (which means 'good waters') is endowed with golden sandy beaches and lakes surrounded by mountains and forests.

There is something for everyone, if it be swimming, surfing, fishing, bushwalking, tennis, golf, relaxing by the lake or enjoying a great espresso or tea at one of the fine local cafes, you will be impressed.

As diamonds are hidden amongst tonnes of earth, as you venture 23km off the highway you also will discover as we did what a beautiful gem that is hidden in a place known as Victoria's best kept secret -- Mallacoota.
